Distributing funds to nonprofits serving low-income college students from Denver

With MetrixIQ’s partnership, PDF has distributed nearly $15.75 million in reimbursements to 35 nonprofit organizations. This includes funding support for 3,121 postsecondary students demonstrating financial need and progress towards college completion from Denver.

The Problem

As a first-of-its-kind program, Prosperity Denver Fund (PDF) had no blueprint for establishing operations and payment processes. PDF has a limited administrative budget, making cost-effective, efficient operations and technology solutions critical.

The Solution

Since 2019, PDF has partnered with MetrixIQ to leverage its expertise in public-funded nonprofit operations, fund distribution, and data management. Metrix has supported PDF with student and expense eligibility determination, reimbursement calculation, and reporting.

As of fall 2021, Metrix has implemented two phases of technology solutions for PDF alongside other initiatives:

  • Design of initial data collection and management in Microsoft Excel

  • Development of a custom and flexible CRM solution

  • Created a technology roadmap for the next 5 years

Metrix continues to be a trusted partner for PDF, continuing to process reimbursements, develop technology solutions, and working to implement a quality assurance program.
