Scaling Innovation in Child Care: MetrixIQ Names Melanie Darienzo Chief Product Officer

Product leader transforming how families access public funding and providers get paid

DENVER, CO – MetrixIQ, a leader in public benefits administration for early childhood education, serving state and local governments across the country, today announced the appointment of Melanie Darienzo as Chief Product Officer. Darienzo will drive product innovation to simplify how families access public funding and how child care providers receive accurate, streamlined payments—two critical pain points in early childhood education.

In her role, Darienzo will develop and execute MetrixIQ's outcomes-focused product roadmap, leveraging AI and automation to remove barriers families face when accessing public funds and to streamline payment processes for providers. Her focus will be on building products that make the complex funding landscape simple and transparent for both families and the providers serving them.

"Families shouldn't have to navigate a maze to access the public funding their child deserves. Providers shouldn't be chasing payments across multiple funding streams," said Rob McDaniel, President and CEO of MetrixIQ. "Melanie's expertise in building solutions within regulated industries, combined with her focus on outcomes and thoughtful use of AI, is exactly what we need to solve these problems. She'll lead the product work to make funding access seamless for families and payments reliable for providers."

Darienzo added, "The problems families and providers face with public funding access are solvable with the right product design. I'm focused on building solutions that make funding transparent and accessible for families—so they can afford care—and ensure providers get paid accurately and on time. That's where AI and automation create real value. MetrixIQ has the expertise to do this right, and that's what excited me about joining the team."

MetrixIQ’s mission is clear: enable an accessible, sustainable early childhood ecosystem through integrated people and technology solutions that deliver outcomes. It’s a mission Darienzo is energized to accelerate—replacing today’s fragmented funding experience with a system that works for families, providers, and the communities they serve.
